There is no school on Friday, May 1, due to the Professional Development Day. Monday will be Day 2.
Sing into Spring
Please come and join us May 2nd, 2009 at 7p.m. for an evening of song & music with performances from some of the many talented students of Glen Stewart as well as local community musicians. Glen Stewart Home and School association will be holding this musical fundraiser at the Stratford Town Hall gymnasium with all money being raised supporting the music department at Glen Stewart.The Glen Stewart Strings Program and Choir will be showcasing their talents during this fundraiser. Bench seating will be provided to all children who are performing in the concert, but as we are raising funds for the music department, a donation would be greatly appreciated.Tickets are $10 for adult and $5 for child and for a limited time each adult ticket will include a free child's admission to "Anne and Gilbert".

Morning Announcements - April 22, 2009
- No Gamesroom today.
- Today is the last day for the Jelly Bean Guessing Contest. If you haven't made your guess yet, be sure to do it today and help your choir! HINT: Think "Big"
- Choir practice at noon today. It is a special practice......yum, yum!!
- Thank you to the Breakfast Program for volunteering their time to provide a healthy breakfast for students. Just a reminder to please say 'thank-you' to our volunteers.
- Grades 5 & 6 students are reminded to bring in their permission slips for track and field. Tomorrow morning, any girls who are interested in competing for the long jump, please come to the gym at 8:10 a.m.
- Happy birthday today to Kevin in 6F and Megan in 2B!

To purchase tickets please fill out the form below and send into your child's teacher before April 20th and tickets will be sent home with your child on April 24th. If paying by cheque please make payable to Glen Stewart Home and School.
400 tickets are available, be sure to purchase yours early to avoid disappointment. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and seating is not reserved, concession and 50/50 will also be available.
