Day 2

Our Cross Country Tem competed at Mill River this weekend in the Provincial Championships. All of our runners did an outstanding job. We had two runners place in the top 10.

The Intramural Teams are posted. Today Grade 5 boys have intramurals during noon recess.

Million Minute Challenge today.

Chess Club tomorrow.

Picture retakes will be on Thursday, October 29th.

Thanks to everyone for a great book fair. With the funds raised, we'll be able to purchase new books for the libraries.

Groupwise is working now!

Games room today for Gr. 5. Team 1 are the leaders today. Also friendship group for Grades 1-3 is today at afternoon recess in the small library.

Day 3

Games room for grade 5 today. Team 2 on duty.

Grade 6 students, please bring pencils to music today.

The main library computer is fixed. Book exchanges can now resume. There is a book fair sign up schedule in the main library. Teachers, drop by and sign up your class to visit the book fair.

Students ballots for the book fair draw will be collected tomorrow afternoon. Teachers, there are ballot containers in each grade level planning area.

Reminder: Next Monday is Pajama Day and Read a Thon for the Million Minutes of Reading Challenge.

Grade 3 students will now be using the lower door (currently used by Gr. 2 & 4) to enter the building in the morning and to go out for and come back in from recesses. Grade 3 students can still use the front door at the end of the day.

Good luck to the students in the PEI Kids Spud Run this weekend.

Phys. Ed classes will be held outside today. If the weather changes we will make another announcement.

Reminder to have audience behavior while Strings are playing during out Assemly today at 1:30. Grade 6 students will be called down first.

Fire Safety Presentation from 9-10 am - Grade 4
10-11 am - Grade 3

Students will have the chance to visit the Book Fair on either Wednesday, Oct. 21 or Thursday, Oct 22. There will be a Read a Thon and Pajama day on Monday, Oct. 26 to celebrate Million Minutes of Reading Day. So wear your pajamas to school and curl up with a good book!

We'd like to thank & congratulate Mme. Paquet's grade 1 class for their fabulous behavior in the hallway yesterday.

Vesey Bulb orders are to be turned into the office.

The Cross Country team can walk to the gym - bring a snack and dress warm.

Reminder about playground - Boundless Playground area is out of bounds - very important that everyone stays off the new surface.

There are a few permission forms that are still not in for Cross Country - please pass those in today.

The Cross Country Meet is tomorrow - weather permitting - Please come dressed warm and ready to run. Rain date is THURSDAY.

All choir students are asked to come to the mobile at morning recess for special information from the Children's Wish Foundation.

Muffin Sale on Thursday and Friday. All muffins are $1.00 with proceeds going to the Breakfast Program.
