The H1N1 Vaccination Clinic will be held at Glen Stewart Elementary School for students in Grade 1-3 on Thursday, November 5th starting at 8:30 a.m. Only those students in Grade 1-3 with permission forms will receive the vaccine. Staff (with the exception of those with chronic health conditions and/or pregnant staff) and students in Grade 4-6 will be done at a later date.
Students who already received the vaccination should not receive it a second time. Parents of any child who received the H1N1 vaccine at another clinic or health centre and who turned in a permission form need to contact the child's homeroom teacher to let them know so that the child doesn't receive another vaccination. Staff will support the children during this process. Those students who are not getting the vaccination will be supervised in the library area. Two classes will be done at a time.
