We would like to thank Ms. Nicholson's Grade 1 class and Mme. McKenzie's Grade 1 class for thier fabulous behaviour in the hallway. Both classes were noticed walking very quietly in a wonderful organized line. Way to go Grade 1.

Morning Announcements

Grade 5 & 6 Phys. Ed will be outside today. Cross Country practice today @noon recess.

On Monday, we are running the Terry Fox Run. While he was in the hospital, Terry Fox was overcome by the suffering of other cancer patients, many of them young children so he decided to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research. He called his journey the Marathon of HOpe. Don't forget the bring in your donation to the Marathon of Hope.

If any students in grade 4,5 & 6 missed their chance to join the school choir on Monday, not to worry! Meet Mrs. Davis in the music mobile today during morning recess.

Terry Fox began his run in Newfoundland. He ran 42 kilometres a day through the Atlantic provinces, Quebec and Ontario. That is a marathon every day. It wa a journey that Canadians would never forget. Please continue to bring in your donations. Glen Stewart will run for Terry Fox on Monday.

Terry Fox grew up in British Columbia, Canada. He was an active child and he participated in many sports. When he was only 18 years old, he was diagnosed with bone cancer and had his leg amputated 15 cm above his knee. On Monday we will run the Terry Fox Run in support of cancre research. This week we ask all classes to collect donations for this cause.

Morning Announcements

Grade 4-6 classes need to send a student to the kitchen daily to pick up milke and juice orders

Clocks throughout the schools seem to be on different times. When the 8:35 bell goes, if everyone could se your clocks. We will all hopefully be going by the same time.

Fire drill procedures will be circulated this morning. Please review with your class and have a practice drill today.
