Day 3

Grade 5 Boys Singles Badminton tryouts are today after school.

Science Fair: Fifteen Grade 5 Studfents attended the Provincial Science Fair yesterday.
Prizes were awarded to:
Sarah Jenkins for a project realted to Waste Management and Reduction.
Matthew Llewellyn for a project involving Energy Alternatives.
Tristan Russel-RacLean for a project relating to Environmental Stewardship
and Sustainability.
Hannah MacLellan for a prize that best demonstarates aspects of Alternative Health
Practices.

Grade 6 girls doubles badminton tryouts today after school.

We are continuing with our Easter Seals coin collection. Congratulations to our grade 3 students who are now in the lead. A challenge is out to other grade levels to meet or surpass Grade 3.

Morning Announcements

Day 1

Congratulations to Connor, Ethan, Alex and Andrew who will represent Glen Stewart at the Zone 3 Doubles Badminton Championship on April 13.

Grade 5 girls have double badminton tryouts today after school.

The Easter Seal Ambassador, Colton Matheson, will be here on April 20th to accept a cheque from our school. Our coin bins are in the foyer - 1 per grade . Our challenge is to see what grade level collects the most.

No birthdays to announce today.

For staff who ordered potatoes from Mme. Haley to support Provincial soccer, the potatoes are in Mr. Birt's room. Please pick up today if possible. Thanks for your support.

Day 6

Easter Seals Campaign coin collection taking place. Please bring in spare change.

French Week will be held during the week of March 29- April 2. There will be trivia during the morning announcements and two huge Acadian flags created by students from all grade levels. Borrowed Kitchen is making up a batch of Acadian cinnamon rolls for sale on Wednesday. On Thursday (the last day of school for the week), the students will be encouraged to dress up in their finest red, white, blue and yellow (Acadian star) outfits.

The Easter Seals Campaign has started at Glen Stewart. We are having a coin collection which has started in the mail lobby. Please bring any spare change and drop it in the containers. The Easter Seal Ambassador, Colton Matheson, will be here on Tuesday, April 20th at 8:50 a.m.

Grade 4 students are asked to bring a pencil to music today.

There were a couple of books that got dropped on the way to the bus on Monday after school - they look like they were book order books. Please come to the office if they are yours!
