Ms. Hoy's class is on outdoor duty this week for the student leadership (on our playground)
Mrs. Dowling/Clark's classes are on indoor duty this week in our games room for student leadership.
In the games room today is kindergarten English classes. The kindergarten french classes will have their turn tomorrow in the games room.
Ms. MacLean would like to congratulate Ms. Malone's kindergarten class for doing a fabulous job of walking quietly in the hallway on their way to gym class on Friday. You were all being very respectful of others in the school.
"Why Practice Respect"
Without respect for rules, we would have confusion. People would treat each other rudely and violate each other's privacy and other rights. Respect helps people to feel valued. Self-respect is making sure no one hurts you or abuses you, even an elder. When you respect yourself, others respect you too.
First edition of Stratford School Newspaper, "Extra, Extra" will be on sale Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at lunch. There will be Glen Stewart & Stratford Elementary news. Joke of the Month, Hero & Teacher of the Month, comics, quizzes and much more. Cost is $1.00. All proceeds will go to support World Vision.
